Singer Kelly Clarkson is causing fury online after revealing how she spanks her children for misbehaving.
Fans and followers couldn’t help themselves from bashing the famous singer and celeb host for using physical means to make her children understand something that could be done so easily through verbal means.
The singer explained how different parents choose different means to discipline their children and for her, spanking is the way to do it. But at the same time, she does admit it’s a habit that she is not proud of for sure.
“Yes, it’s an act that so many people think is wrong and I know how much it’s frowned upon. But I still do it!”- she started to explain.
Speaking during an interview with Atlanta Radio Station, Clarkson mentioned that she is not above spanking and people really need to get over it. “I don’t recall hitting them too hard. I just mean to do a little spank”- the starlet explained.
The report comes to us from the star’s own show called, ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’. She tried to justify the behavior by mentioning how her parents used to do it to her all the time when she was young and now, she’s reciprocating the same behavior in the little ones too.
“I feel fine about it and I do that well. When I am out in public, I do avoid it because some claim it’s wrong but I’ll be honest, I don’t see what the big deal is!”- she went on to mention.
But Clarkson did go into details about how she does not like to spank them on the spot. Instead, she first gives them a warning and the next step is the drastic spank.
