Actor Johnny Depp will not be attending the final verdict of his $100 million defamation trial.
According to local media reports, the jury has reached the final decision on its third day of deliberations and while that is a huge shocker for plenty of people, many others are saddened to hear how the actor will not be attending the verdict in person.
“Johnny Depp is currently in the United Kingdom and he’s busy with some major work commitments that were decided earlier on. Therefore, he won’t be able to attend the decision physically but will be joining virtually”- mentioned a close source to the actor.
The celeb’s planner was booked before the trial even began so it was impossible for him to make an appearance during this time. The news of the verdict coming out today at 3 pm in Virginia is definitely a shocker for so many people.
However, Amber Heard is expected to be a part of the mega reveal.
During the lunchtime on Wednesday, the seven-member jury was able to reach their final verdict but the news surprised many as yesterday, they were all handed a 42 question paper where they had to decide whether or not the celeb had really been defamed by his former wife who is reportedly accused of starting a smear campaign against him.
Judge Penney who is heading the case since day one revealed how the verdict would be out any moment now. She also mentioned how both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard will not be required to attend the hearing in person and that’s when the verdict will be read out loud.
Reprots revealed how social media is abuzz as many have their eyes glued to the screen with the case being called out as the most famous and most viewed of all time in Hollywood.
