Olivia Newton-John’s daughter has paid a touching tribute to her legendary mom after her sudden passing at the age of 73.
The ‘Hollywood Nights’ and ‘Rocky Mountain Christmas’ star died at her California home on Monday morning after a brave and lengthy battle with breast cancer.
The tragic news was announced by the actress’s husband, John Easterling, and resulted in a wave of tributes and words of support to the grieving family.
Paying the Grease star a touching tribute was also her daughter, singer, and actress Chloe Lattanzi, who shared a series of old photos in which she’s seen embracing her mom.
In one picture, young Chloe is seen kissing her mother on the face and holding her cheek in her right palm.
In another snap dating even further back, the actress is carrying her baby daughter in her arms while posing for a picture with a big smile on her face.
Among other family photos were also two recent pictures of the pair and two photos in which pre-teen Chloe appeared by her mom’s side.
The actress’s death comes just days after Chloe posed for a photo with her mom and said she was her best friend.
“I worship this woman. My mother. My best friend,” she wrote in the caption.
Paying a tribute to the acting icon was also Chloe’s fiancé, James Driskill, who penned the following message:
“I am so lucky and grateful that I had the opportunity to learn from such an amazing woman. You led an extraordinary life and touched so many.
“You taught me about grace and gratitude, love and light. You were always so generous and kind and I’m filled with joy thinking about spending the rest of my life with your beautiful daughter who also teaches me daily about how to be a more compassionate and forgiving man. Goodbye mama. I love you.”
