Elon Musk and JK Rowling might be in for a rude awakening after Imane Khelif’s recent legal action against those who instigated cyberbullying against the female gender row boxer.
Therefore if found guilty, both the X owner and Harry Potter author could face a jail time of five years where fines might hit the 214k pounds mark.
Musk and Rowling were among the long list of prominent names who led the outcry and fury that Imane was a male and therefore it was unfair for her to be competing in the boxing championship at this year’s Olympics.
The Algerian fighter proved the world wrong and ended up winning the event, fair and square. Now, it appears to be payback time for her.
The lawsuit made against French authorities alleged that these two public figures and a host of others aggravated the level of cyber harassment taking place.
The incident blew out of proportion and many bashed the International Olympic Committee for giving her the signal to compete with other females who were at a disadvantage against her.
Her attorney says the boxer deserves justice for what she’s been through and he also hinted at how more public names would be coming out soon.
