Prince Harry has just made a surprise appearance at this year’s NFL Honors event that arose on Thursday evening.
The news comes after a brief trip that arose to London, right after his father King Charles was diagnosed with cancer.
The Duke of Sussex says he took the earliest flight back home so he could serve as a presenter for the prestigious Man of the Year award. This is said to be the highest honor for the evening and it took place during the ceremony in Las Vegas.
But not all royal fans were impressed. They felt it was about time that the prince understood that this was not alright. “Your father has cancer, this is so wrong!”- mentioned one fan and the comments on this front continued.
While making his appearance on stage, Harry mentioned during his speech, ‘All you guys do on the field and off it is so remarkable. You are all role models for millions of people out there and the way they carry themselves is truly worth a mention- he continued.
The Duke of Sussex had a very professional demeanor throughout the evening. But a lot of people felt that perhaps he could have stayed by his dad’s side a little longer, considering the health crisis that he’s experiencing at the moment.
Harry’s wife Meghan Markle was pictured smiling, moments before he made his way on stage. She did not accompany her husband and neither did any of the kids as the Prince’s visit was said to be short and sweet for the evening.
