Seinfeld star Michael Richards went public about his diagnosis of prostate cancer during the summer of 2018.
The leading television actor shocked fans and others in the industry when he said that it’s been a silent battle that he chose to fight personally without anyone else knowing.
This includes how he could have lost his life, if he chose not to undergo a dramatic surgery, eight months back. And that’s something that doctors warned him about.
While he’s still recovering and the battle continues, the actor says he is grateful to get another shot at life. The 74-year-old was said to be suffering from cancer stage one and as mentioned in his book online, he just suddenly had a high PSA level on his routine blood test.
This was something serious and upon further examination, it was revealed that he was indeed suffering from cancer. “I thought to myself, okay, this is my time to go. But then when I was informed about my options, I made the most of it. And today, I am so thankful to be alive”- he added.
The star detailed more about how he had to go for the whole surgery and that’s the only reason for his existence at this moment.
