The alleged gunman, who was a store employee at Walmart, has been arrested after killing two people.

According to reports from local media outlets, the incident arose in Atlanta, Georgia, where two people were found dead and one person was left with serious injuries on Friday at 1:30 am. Deputies were seen rushing to the scene of the crime after receiving alarming reports on the matter.

The suspect was working at the retailer when he suddenly chose to go outside and grab a handgun.

The cops shared how he went back inside and shot and killed one of his own co-workers. The suspect chose to shoot another employee standing outside the store. This left the employee in critical condition, as per the cops.

After shooting the two employees at the retail store, he broke into a woman’s home that was two miles away, and he killed her.

Two of the victims were yet to be identified. Family members of the woman shot at home identified her as 19-year-old Akeela Clarke, who was also an employee at the same Walmart store.

Clarke’s family shared how the shooter broke down the front door and killed the teen in front of her mom while her sister hid inside. ‘This was not an active shooter situation’ – the Newton County Sheriff’s office mentioned during a statement.
