Renowned television host and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey has reportedly been hospitalized.
The news and details regarding her recent health scare were confirmed by good friend Gayle King who requested her fans and only family for prayers during this difficult time.
Winfrey was supposed to make her scheduled appearance with her good friend Gayle King through the CBS Mornings this week but due to her violent stomach bug, she has been shifted to a nearby hospital to receive treatment on this front.
“She had something very severe going on with her stomach. There was stuff coming out of both ends”- the leading news anchor added while speaking to media outlet TMZ on Tuesday morning.
She further added that she would not be getting too much into detail but it was definitely a very graphic scene that made her worried.
Oprah is said to be suffering from severe dehydration and therefore has been given IV therapy as it was considered to be very serious by doctors who are now keeping her on strict observation.
The news has left the star’s fans so concerned as many pray for her well-being and safe recovery.
