But this time around, the star was shining from afar while donning a custom-made skin-tight gown that was adorned brilliantly with a long list of sequins. The dress was from luxe fashion label Dolce and Gabbana and fans were in love with the design, cut, and color altogether.
Many went as far as mentioning how this hue is certainly made for the host who outshone many others on the red carpet event, which was held in Los Angeles last night.
It was the Academy Museum Gala that set the tone for a graceful and exciting star-studded affair where all types of personalities united to celebrate the grand occasion.
The former talk show host was seen mentioning how excited she was to put her fashion foot forward and be a muse for the leading D&G brand. Moreover, she could not stop raving about the long sleeves, long train, and high neck features that made the gown stand out in more ways than one.
“I feel honored to be able to wear something of this sort. It’s a privilege and I love the way the purple looks on me”- she captioned the picture after posting it on her social media. Similarly, the leading woman of the hour also decided to keep her accessories minimalist yet chic with the color purple.
This included lavender drop earrings arising from Hamilton Jewelers whom she is said to have supported from the day it had opened, calling it a clear favorite and obvious choice for the celeb.
