A nurse from Oregon who vanished a couple of days back after returning home from her wedding has now been found dead.
The heartbreaking news was made by authorities who were carrying out an urgent search to try and locate her after loved ones raised concerns about her mysterious disappearance.
The victim was identified as Melissa Jubane who worked as a cardiac nurse at the St. Vincent Hospital in Southwest, Portland. She went missing after she and her husband returned from their dream wedding in Hawaii.
She did not show up to work for a couple of days and that also raised concerns at the hospital, only for them to discover the heartbreaking news today.
Police received a welfare check call for her at her residence where officers met with the staff of the building and carried out a search.
The officer found no signs of her inside the apartment that was located in Beaverton’s Five Oaks neighborhood.
Her husband last heard from his wife at about 6 am and she did not report back to the hospital as per reports from media outlet KHON.
