A man from Minnesota is being held in prison for allegedly stabbing his wife to death during a Bible study session.

Sources from local media outlets were quick to speak about how he lost his cool in the most deranged manner and started to violently stab her using a sharp object.

Officials claim the man suffered from a very violent and turbulent past. And while staying at his relative’s home, he did the unthinkable at the start of this week.

The suspect was identified as 40-year-old Robert Castillo who hails from St. Paul. He has now reportedly been charged with second-degree murder, leaving loved ones stunned.

The victim was identified as 41-year-old Corinna Woodhull who he continued to knife in a tragic and repeated manner at around 9 pm on Tuesday.

This was according to the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office. Hence, the cops were called in after the startling reports took center stage. They found the victim covered in some serious injuries.

CBS News Minnesota went on to detail how the victim happened to be a loving mother of five. She was reportedly rushed to the Regions Hospital and that is where doctors tried to intervene and bring her back to life but it was all in vain.

She was pronounced dead by the doctors soon, leaving loved ones in a state of complete shock and denial as to how so much could happen in such a short span of time.

Police claim the victim happened to be sitting near her husband on the couch. And that’s when all of a sudden, he reportedly took out the knife and took her by surprise.

But before she could react and call for help, he brutally began to attack her and it left her dead within minutes as she lay helplessly waiting for medical assistance.
