What would you do if you found out that your own toddler got behind the wheel and managed to slam your vehicle into one belonging to the neighbours?

Well, in this case, the mother was certainly not happy. And that’s because what she got in return was a huge repair bill regarding the toddler hitting the vehicle.

An anonymous mom from the United Kingdom says she had to step up to the plate when her toddler decided to make a huge mistake.

The mom happened to be out and about with her toddler. And that’s when she accidentally made a dent in the neighbour’s car. Instead of just leaving the vehicle like that, she pretended that nothing happened.

The mom decided to tell the neighbour that she would be taking care of the damage.

Knowing that insurance companies could be a costly ordeal, she opted to pay for the whole damage through her own pocket.  And while it was definitely something expensive and not to be proud of, she really wished for the right thing.

According to reports from Metro, the neighbour mentioned that they would now be sending her a huge bill by next week. Without any doubt, any person in such a position would be scared waiting to see how much funds they’d be required to shed for such a mistake.

And that’s when the mom wrote through a post on Facebook about how the vehicle was damaged in the first place.

“My silly 3-year-old slammed a neighbour’s car last week when he opened the door. We did admit to the crime and that’s when we reassured them that they’d be paying for the scratches and damages that took place in this manner”- she continued.

The bill comprised zero charges and the mom’s faith in humanity was restored.
