Ozzy Osbourne is set to undergo major surgery on Monday.
According to the 73-year-old singer’s wife, Sharon Osbourne, the ‘Under the Graveyard’ hitmaker is scheduled for a major surgery that will “determine the rest of his life.”
Speaking out on The Talk, the TV personality and commentator revealed she was flying from London to Los Angeles over the weekend to be there for her husband as he undergoes an important procedure.
“He has a very major operation on Monday, and I have to be there. It’s really going to determine the rest of his life,” Sharon said.
The surgery follows two months after Sharon revealed that the Black Sabbath rocker was scheduled to undergo another major procedure following his latest surgery.
“He’s doing okay, he sends you his love. He’s got one more operation left to do and then he’s dying to come back home,” she told Piers Morgan on Piers Morgan Uncensored after he asked her for an update about her husband.
The surgeries come amid the singer’s battle with Parkinson’s and his recovery from injuries sustained during a fall at his home in 2019.
While Sharon previously admitted “it’s very difficult” dealing with a combination of injury and Parkinson’s, Ozzy spoke out about his condition saying “it’s just another thing on my plate I have got to deal with.”
“Well the one question from me was, ‘Is it a terminal illness?’, and the guy says, ‘No, but life is,’” he said in an interview.
“It’s just another thing on my plate I have got to deal with. I’m not in the slightest worried about it. I’ve not got any secrets. The initial shock is I’ve got Parkinson’s.
“Nobody knows what the f*** it is. I didn’t know anything about it apart from the name.”
