Weddings usually happen once in a lifetime and that’s why there are usually no excuses for missing out on big days.
This next story has plenty of people talking after one woman chose to sit out of her own sister’s wedding. And she feels zero remorse, justifying the act with her painful period.
But her loved ones are far from accepting of the excuse and feel she could have and should have attended her sister’s big day, considering she’s her blood relative.
Now, the bride and the entire family refuse to speak to her and hope she realizes that what she did was wrong on so many levels.
The woman says she suffers from endometriosis and her condition can get severe on some occasions. But to have others understand this is just rare.
They always start to give their advice including hot water presses, and whatnot. It has started to get on her nerves and she needs it to stop. “When will people realize that it is not okay to just assume I am making the intensity of my pain up? This is serious”- she continued.
She explained her story on the online platform of Reddit and failed to get any kind of major response. She claims that missing out on major public events like her own sister’s wedding is not something she would do intentionally.
“I would have gone if I could. My dress was ready, and my shoes, and jewels were too”- she continued.
The fact that her family just cannot forgive her has left her devastated. She wants to know what or how she can make things better, now that the event has gone.
She is in search of advice on what to do next so that her sister and the rest of the household can forgive her. “It hurts knowing people don’t believe you. I am just so upset. Tell me what to do”- she asked.
