Paris Hilton has broken her silence and hit back at online trolls after they mocked the size of her son’s head.
The 43-year-old heiress said her mama bear instincts instantly kicked in when social media users began mocking her 10-month-old son Phoenix because of the size of his head.
Speaking to the People magazine, Paris – who welcomed baby Phoenix with husband Carter Reum via a surrogate – insisted she normally wouldn’t respond to “cruel” people. This time, however, she felt obliged to do so because it was her child that they were criticizing.
“Usually, I wouldn’t even dignify anything like that with a response, but I was just heartbroken that there are such cruel people in the world,” she said.
“I couldn’t believe that they could be mean and vicious about a little innocent baby. You can say what you want about me, but this is my little angel. And if anyone ever says anything to hurt him or his feelings, I will always be there to protect him.”
Paris’ interview with People comes shortly after she hit back at her son’s critics on Instagram.
“There are some sick people in this world. My angel is perfectly healthy. And yes, of course he has been to a doctor, he just has a large brain,” she wrote.
More recently, the proud mother-of-two announced the birth of her first daughter, London, as she shared a photo of a pink baby outfit on her social media account.
The mother also shared a series of adorable pictures in which she’s seen cradling her son in front of pink Christmas trees.
