Terrifying reports have confirmed that a Boeing 777 carrying 211 passengers onboard has made a crash landing that left one person dead and many injured.
Sources from local media outlets were quick to outline how significant turbulence caused the passenger jet to plummet thousands of feet from the sky and forced the jet to make an emergency landing.
One 73-year-old British passenger was declared dead while dozens of others were wounded. This included at least seven who suffered critical wounds and are now battling for their life in the hospital.
The incident is believed to have taken place when the flight left Heathrow Airport for Singapore and a few hours into the flight, it was struck by severe turbulence. This caused the plane to be diverted to Thailand as confirmed by the GM at Suvarnabhumi Airport.
Passengers onboard spoke about experiencing a major drop and that caused those that were not wearing seatbelts to hit the sealing and get seriously injured.
The elderly victim who died was said to have suffered from a heart attack. Dramatic images from the ordeal showed the plane’s galley featuring food all over the place while some images of cabin crew members covered in blood were also revealed showing the magnitude of the carnage.
