The damaged aircraft is believed to have remained stuck and stranded in that same position in the grass, causing many delays as other flights were barred from entering and leaving the location.

Mactan International Airport is considered to be one of the country’s busiest airports out there and it remained shut due to the stalled plane standing at the end of the lone runway.

Moreover, from the images, most of the plane’s underbelly and nose were damaged as the plane lay in a tipped forward manner on the grassy area.
