Shocking and terrifying reports are speaking about one Alaska Airlines flight featuring passengers who thought they were just about to die.
The incident arose on Friday night while the airline was traveling at 16,000 feet when all of a sudden, a giant hole was blown off the aircraft, creating scenes of absolute chaos and panic.
Seated passengers started to make use of oxygen masks as cold winds started to batter the entire cabin and then one mortified woman texted her loved ones claiming they did not wish to die.
The flight was said to be making its way from Portland to California when the cabin window exploded in the air during the travel. Meanwhile, one passenger by the name of Emma Vu shared her fears through an account on social media. She showed her followers on TikTok how it was a terrifying ordeal and that live scenes were worse than actually being there.
Emma started to reveal her panic-stricken text messages that she launched to loved ones. They added how grave the ordeal became with masks being released. ‘I am so scared right now, please pray for me. I do not want to die’- it went on to add.
Thankfully, all passengers remained safe on the flight but some did end up losing their items such as phones when the pressure inside the cabin was released.
There was a huge gush of cold air entering and it even ended up tearing off peoples’ shirts and sucking the devices from others’ hands. As a whole, it was a mortifying ordeal and one that no one would ever wish to be in, another person added.
One passenger spoke in detail about the window opening right after takeoff but no one knew that the aftermath would be so devastating.
The pilot called in for an emergency landing and managed to land the aircraft there and then despite screams. And as soon as people saw the gates open, they were seen making their way outwards in a massive rush.
