Eagle eye fans have spotted a controversial tattoo on US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth’s arm.
The tattoo was certainly new and had never been spotted before, featuring Arabic calligraphy underneath his arm.
He posted the image of himself doing some jumping jacks and push-ups with the Navy Seals at the joint base Pearl Harbor-Hickman on Tuesday.
This news comes as he continues to face serious pressure to resign after sharing details about Yemen’s strike plans in a new group text chat with other leading members of the Trump administration.
Hegseth brushed off this controversy and stated that this chat did not entail any kind of classified information. Now, he is in Guam and Hawaii on a trip to visit the American troops, where this image of his tattoo was seen.
The latest revelation in this video features the Arabic term Kafir which means disbeliever in the Quran or infidel. It was inked right below his Deus Vult tattoo.
This discovery sparked serious anger from activists who are already upset with him and his tattoos featuring American and Christian pictures. Muslims felt that the tattoo was a clear sign of enmity and hatred towards them.
Many referred to it as a clear sign of Islamophobia from the man known to be overseeing the US wars, shared one Pro-Palestinian activist in New York City. Others shared the same opinion and condemned the act as pressure mounts for his resignation from his leading Trump administration post.
