Pierce Brosnan has paid a sweet tribute to his wife Keely Shaye on her 60th birthday.
The 70-year-old James Bond star presented his wife of 22 years with 60 red roses to mark her 60th birthday on Monday.
Brosnan also posted a touching message along with a snap showing the couple posing in a warm embrace behind the large bouquet.
“Sixty roses for my brown eyed girl on her 60th birthday,” he wrote.
“Forever happy and blessed was I to be sitting there when you walked around the corner early one morning in Cabo San Lucas.”
Brosnan and Shaye first met in Cabo San Lucas in 1994. Seven years later, they tied the knot at Ballintubber Alley in Ireland.
The couple shares two adult sons including Paris, 22, and Dylan, 26. Brosnan is also a father to three children from his previous relationship with Cassandra Harris.
The Hollywood actor recently opened up about his passion for art after opening his own exhibition featuring a variety of drawings and paintings.
“I have been painting since ’87 and it’s very therapeutic. Painting has helped me find my way in life. Whenever I feel angst, I’ll go to the canvas. It brings me comfort and it’s just so joyful,” he told Vanity Fair.
Besides painting and drawing, the actor also stays young by practicing meditation and staying close to the coast where he can enjoy water.
“I have fond memories of the seaside. So when I dropped into America in the 1980s, there was only one place to be – and that was on the coast,” he explained.
Brosnan and Keely currently reside in Kauai, Hawaii.
