It was an absolute miracle that the pilot of a fatal plane crash today ended up surviving the horrifying explosion.
Despite being pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital, the pilot managed to make it out alive, as per reports from local media outlets.
The doomed flight in Thailand was carrying six people on boardwho were all police officers. But then, all of a sudden, the small plane crashed into the Gulf of Thailand near Chaam’s coast in the country’s southwestern region.
The incident arose at about 8:25 am local time. As per reports from the Thai PBS, the plane used for the test flight was a de Havilland DHC 6-400 Twin Otter.
This was developed by the Canadian company called Havilland Canada in the mid-1960s.
The local constabulary confirmed the tragic incident that arose during a test flight mission, which was part of the prep for an upcoming parachute jump exercise.
The statement from the forces read: ‘The Royal Thai Police would like to express their deepest condolences and sympathy on the matter.
’ They similarly shared how the casualties included the pilot, who happened to be a part of the police team.
However, it has now been confirmed that the pilot is indeed alive. He’s under monitoring by the hospital staff.
