A nine-year-old child named William Gierke who hails from Wisconsin has a very interesting story that left his mother shocked.

The child was very weary of attending the first day of school as it was a new environment with new teachers and classmates.

He wore a pink shirt and his mom thought he appeared adorable. Sadly, he was made fun of in school and soon got bullied by others who called him a girl for thinking that color was okay.

Deeply saddened, he returned home with tears in his eyes. His mother was horrified at all that went down as this was a young boy we were talking about.

Since his peers called him a sissy, due to the color of his shirt, he wanted to express solidarity with cancer patients which is why he opted for the color in the first place.

The image proudly displayed, ‘Tough guys wear pink!’- and it was for the sake of a good cause which in this case was a breast cancer charity.

The mother was astonished by her child’s message. She couldn’t believe that she had raised such a thoughtful gentleman. This was certainly major news.

He was just so unsure about the whole matter but his mother told him that he was right to do this, sending him love and warmth for his kind and thoughtful gesture.
