Depp had been canceled out of the project’s sixth movie after shocking allegations of being a ‘wife beater’ had emerged, thanks to Amber Heard. But with the way the ongoing trial is turning out to be right now, many feel Johnny Depp is indeed a victim of abuse and not the other way around.

This particular petition has been addressed to the movie’s producer Jerry Bruckheimer and while it may not be mentioning Heard or the ongoing defamation trial, it’s quite clear that the timing of popularity says a lot.
