Terrifying reports are coming in from Manchester this evening where a plane caught fire.
According to local media reports, rescue services were seen rushing to the scene as holidaymakers were stunned watching their aircraft blow up in flames.
Thankfully the fire was extinguished in no time but the fear and dread of flying after seeing such an incident on the ground were just mindblowing for so many people.
According to local media reports, the Tui plane had landed at 4:30 pm in the afternoon, as it made its way for parking across Manchester’s airport.
Fire engines were observed rushing to the scene, as experts claim the engine had overheated and caught on fire.
The cabin crew was also extinguishing the giant fire right before the emergency services arrived and took matters into their own hands.
One spokesperson for the airlines was seen speaking during a recent press conference. She stated how all the passengers had thankfully disembarked on time and as a result, no one suffered any injuries.
But still, the matter had so many people concerned as it was just minutes between an immense tragedy unfolding and passengers disembarking.
“There were so many fire engines over there. They were spraying it with water. We all stood there stunned. We were passengers of another flight. As it is, traveling during such times is stressful and this doesn’t make it any easier”- he mentioned.
Many claim that the sound ambulances and fire engines are the scariest things at any airport and to see it take place during the holiday season really made matters worse.
All flights were temporarily halted until further clearance was given for normal operations to resume. For now, authorities are carrying out an investigation into what really happened as an inquiry was also seen being launched.
