Pop superstar Lizzo was not getting much love after she chose to share her political views on social media.
Many viewers ripped the star online for claiming that VP Kamala Harris getting elected as president would make the entire nation like Detroit.
The very bold statements were made at a rally recently where Lizzo did not shy away from mentioning who she supported and why but many thought she was so naive and didn’t have a clue about politics.
Others chose to target her about her weight and music, telling her to focus on that instead of turning to politics.
The Truth Hurts singer also sang the city’s praises after former US President Trump disparaged it at an appearance last week at the Detroit Economic Club.
“The whole nation will be resilient and proud like Detroit! If you want that, you need to vote for her”- she continued.
It’s no surprise that Harris does share a close bond with the star and she’s made it very clear that she’s supporting Kamala Harris until the end.
“This is a little far-fetched. She is living in a world of delusion as are the other Democrats”- mentioned one viewer and just like that, the negative comments kept on coming in.
