Zac Efron was rushed to the hospital on Friday after suffering from a swimming incident in Spain.
The news was confirmed by media outlet TMZ who says he was found inside the pool by two men who noticed it was a serious situation.
Therefore, paramedics were called to the scene and they rushed to the resort’s poolside in Ibiza to take him under their care.
The High School Musical star was found inside the pool of the villa in Ibiza by the two workers who were on duty at the time. They managed to pull him out of the water, sources added.
It’s still not clear if Efron suffered any serious injuries or not. There was no confirmation about him being at risk of drowning either.
For now, the exact details of this case are yet to be revealed but many hope they could get further insights on the star who is considered a heartthrob for obvious reasons.
Efron’s rep spoke to TMZ and said their client was just rushed as a precaution and that he was out of danger. Page Six also reached out for comments from the star’s publicist and received a similar response.
Efron is said to be doing just fine after the scary incident. He has yet to post more on the matter on social media right now.
