Pope Francis was recently seen condemning the actions of Russian forces in Ukraine as he kissed the country’s flag that had reportedly been brought to him from the war-torn nation.

The news comes as the world witnesses the horrifying civilian massacres that took place in the Ukrainian city of Bucha after distressing images of the incident went viral.

From torture rooms being discovered to mass graves and innocent civilian bodies found with their hands tied around the necks were just the start of the inhuman war crimes taking center stage.

The Pope was quick to call out Russia for its ‘horrendous cruelty’ while claiming the blood of so many innocent people was crying to the heavens and begging for mercy.

Recently, Ukraine’s President Zelensky was seen speaking to the UN and confirming how the suburban area of Bucha was severely tormented as horrifying discoveries of dead civilians were made.

He also shed light on how it was nothing less than genocide and Russia was responsible for the loss of so many innocent people who did nothing but defend their land.

The Pope was also seen sending out special prayers and also requested the world to never forget Ukraine as the situation was not only tragic but very alarming.

The Pope seemed very emotional as he sent out a special prayer for young children refugees in the country as thousands were displaced and split from their loved ones due to the ongoing conflict.

85-year-old Pope Francis stood near other children refugees and handed them chocolate easter eggs at the Vatican while making the very special prayer.

“Evermore horrendous war crimes were being conducted against so many young and innocent defenseless civilians, including women and children”- the Pope stated.
