The portraits were exchanged on Friday as per media outlet CNN. The latest painting of Trump shows him raising his fist after a bullet grazed his ear at a rally held in Butler.

The swap was shared through the White House’s official social media account. As expected, the incident has raised more questions on why that was necessary and how insulting it can be.

Furthermore, this replacement breaks the usual White House tradition as it’s necessary to include the two most recent presidential portraits in the Grand Foyer.

Near the entrance of the executive mansion, it’s displayed so that all state guests and visitors can see it at the prominent location.

Since Trump and Biden’s portraits aren’t complete yet, the two most recent presidential portraits on display were linked to Obama and his predecessor, who is President George W. Bush.

Obama’s picture is now seen hanging across the Grand Foyer where Bush’s had been hanging in the past. Bush’s picture has now been relocated to a different location, next to the picture of his late father, former President George H.W. Bush, as per CNN.
