Prince Andrew and Prince Harry could soon face more humiliation as several royal officials are thinking of ways to remove their prized royal status as ‘Counsellor of State’.
As it is, the duo has been stripped of their main royal titles, military titles, and HRH titles and this appears to be another major blow as revealed by inside experts.
If this does in fact take place, as the chances are high, both men will also be denied Jubilee medals from the Queen, similar to other veterans.
However, it is still not known how Buckingham Palace will actually go about removing the ‘Counsellor of State’ status from both the Duke of York and Duke of Sussex, and deliberations on the matter continue. This is reported to be a significant position that each member of the duo still possesses.
Meanwhile, palace sources have stated that they are still two of the four Counsellors of the State, and would be called upon to take the Queen’s position if she couldn’t carry out her duties due to her illness or her absence abroad.
In other words, they would be required to carry out several official duties of the monarch that includes the signage of several essential documents, along with their attendance at several Privy meetings of the Council, and also their receiving of credentials of the new ambassadors to the United Kingdom.
The other two Counsellors of the State include Prince Charles who is also the next in line to the heir to the throne and Prince William who is the second in line.
An inside source from the Royal Palace has gone on to state how this is a genuine problem and one that the palace is looking forward to solving and addressing.
