It’s no surprise that Prince Harry and Prince Charles are going through a rough patch in terms of their relationship with one another, especially after the bombshell Oprah interview allegations.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex made headlines after they opted to visit the Queen and Charles in Windsor Palace, just a few days back.
Both Harry and Meghan are currently on a tour to the Netherlands, where they have been invited for the Invictus Games. But controversy arose when they announced how a trip to the UK was not on the cards. But moments later, they were reported in the UK for a brief meeting with the Queen.
Now, it is believed that they also met Charles where both Prince Harry and Charles came face to face in a tense standoff meeting that lasted for only 15 minutes.
Insiders believe this was a great chance for them to clear the air as Prince Charles was said to be broken-hearted and beyond devastated at what was being said in the Oprah interview.
The chat is believed to be short but edgy, taking place about 10 am in the morning. Moreover, it is believed that Camilla opted to enter mid-way into the conversation.
“Charles is broken-hearted over what has come out in the Press and what has been said in the interview. Moreover, he also has great fears of history repeating itself, in a manner similar to the way it did for Princess Diana”- the Royal Insider explained.
But it is believed Charles would like to keep the door open for further communication and continue talking with Harry, something that he wished he had done with Princess Diana before it was too late.
This is Harry and Meghan’s first visit to Europe ever since the duo opted to give up their royal titles and settle in teh US.
