Prince Harry reportedly talked to his old friends and ex-girlfriends in an attempt to get them featured in his upcoming memoir.
Titled Spare, the memoir is set to hit the shelves on January 10 following months of delays because of the Queen’s passing back in September.
The fast-approaching book, which is being published by Penguin Random House, is believed to feature a number of bombshell allegations and revelations of “nuclear” proportions.
Sources also suggested that Harry approached his old friends and even his ex-girlfriends to urge them to speak to his ghostwriter to be featured in his controversial memoir.
According to The Sun, however, a source claims that most of his contacts were stunned by the proposition and decided to politely decline.
Some of Prince Harry’s ex-girlfriends include 33-year-old actress Cressida Bonas and 37-year-old Chelsy Davy.
While it is not clear if Harry approached either of them, at least one of his former close associates allegedly sent the prince running.
“Harry did reach out. Friends and girlfriends were polite and said they would think about it but ultimately most said No,” the source said.
“It was felt to be kind of ironic that Harry would hit the roof if he ever had an inkling they spoke to the media, but now he wants them to when he needs their help.”
The claims come as the Royal Family braces for possible “truth bombs” and “hurtful criticism” that could cause further damage to the monarchy.
While there’s little King Charles and Prince William can do to stop Harry from speaking out now, some sources suggested the monarch could resort to cutting all ties with the Sussexes and taking away their Duke and Duchess titles if they go “fully rogue.”
