The Duke of Sussex have completed his autobiography, with the bombshell memoir manuscript said to have been signed off by lawyers.
Publishers aim for the anticipated book to be out in time for Thanksgiving and Christmas so it could be bought as a present.
According to The Sun, ghostwriter JR Moehringer just finished the manuscript.
“The manuscript has been finished and gone through all of the legal processes. It’s gone and out of Harry’s hands,” a publishing source said.
“The publishing date has been pushed back once but it is on track for the end of the year.”
It was last year when Prince Harry, 37, signed up to the book deal despite making repeated calls for the Royal Family’s privacy to be respected.
The manuscript is anticipated to feature his memories of his mother, the late Princess Diana, as well as the end of his parents’ marriage.
Harry said that he was writing “not as the prince I was born but as the man I have become,” adding that he wanted to include “the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned.”
His grandmother, the Queen, is said to have been the only royal whom the father-of-two informed about the book.
Penguin Random House told media in a statement last year that the memoir is: “In an intimate and heartfelt memoir from one of the most fascinating and influential global figures of our time.”
The statement continued: “Prince Harry will share, for the very first time, the definitive account of the experiences, adventures, losses, and life lessons that have helped shape him.
“Covering his lifetime in the public eye from childhood to the present day, including his dedication to service, the military duty that twice took him to the frontlines of Afghanistan, and the joy he has found in being a husband and father, Prince Harry will offer an honest and captivating personal portrait, one that shows readers that behind everything they think they know lies an inspiring, courageous and uplifting human story.”
