Prince Harry is making it very clear to the world that he’s not at all happy with the way his wife Meghan Markle was treated at the Royal Palace.
The Duke of Sussex explained how he wished the family would open up and see how similar Meghan Markle is to his mother, Princess Diana. But the fact that this could not happen during their stay in the UK is a regret that he claims will stay with him forever.
The Prince who has opted to stay in the United States of America and give up his residency revealed through a new post on social media how he has had it with the rumors that he and Meghan didn’t give the family enough time to blend in.
According to him, the time was plenty but the attitudes of some were just a lot for him and his wife to bear. This alongside the fact that his wife was being hounded in the same manner that his mother Diana was, is certainly not something he was going to accept.
Harry and Meghan reportedly began dating in the year 2016 and since then, he’s been appearing in various interviews, talking about how he knew Meghan was the one.
The Prince explained how it’s not hard to understand that his mother and his wife are like two peas in a pod for him. He sees his mother’s reflection in the mannerism, behavior, and upbringing and it’s something that he cannot get enough of.
It’s not only the Palace but even Diana’s own family including her two sisters spoke about how there was simply no resemblance between Diana and Meghan and that was just a tough pill for Harry to swallow, as revealed in his recently published book. For him, it’s a disappointment and regret that he will always have.
