Prince William has just given a very rare update on the Princess of Wales amid her cancer recovery.
She was seen in attendance at a leading poignant event alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla.
The Prince of Wales was present in Portsmouth along with a number of leading UK politicians as well as veterans as the commemorations began for the 80th anniversary of D-Day.
Both William and his father gave speeches at this very moving event where they were seen mingling with another veteran.
In the footage, William can be seen meeting and greeting a lot of people including one veteran who sweetly inquired about his wife’s health who is battling with cancer.
William got a little emotional while answering as he did miss her presence as she was always there by his side.
He revealed how she is seeking preventative chemotherapy and therefore wouldn’t be in attendance at some public events throughout the year, a statement that was already made public by the Royal Palace recently.
“I wanted to ask if your wife is getting any better?”- the veteran asked. William smiled and looked down before answering.
“Yes she is and she would have been delighted to be here with all of you”- the Prince of Wales continued.
