Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas celebrated their daughter’s second birthday with a series of adorable snaps on Wednesday.
The 41-year-old actress and the 31-year-old singer shared heartwarming photos commemorating Malti Marie’s 2nd birthday with their fans on Instagram.
“She is our miracle. And she is 2,” the former Miss World captioned her post.
In one of the adorable photos, Malti is seen staring at an Elmo plush toy during her Elmo-themed birthday party.
In another, she, her parents, and Priyanka’s mother Madhu are seen praying during a temple visit.
The birthday celebration comes shortly after the Love Again star opened up about parenthood and admitted that it’s the greatest thing she’s ever done despite being overwhelming.
“I think when you put them to bed, it’s extremely overwhelming because every single day you worry about what you can do wrong and what mistake you might make. But you have to check yourself, and I check myself with my family,” the actress told People.
“I look at [my daughter’s] smile, and I’m like, ‘Okay, okay. I’m doing good so far.’ It’s the greatest thing I’ve ever done, but it’s extremely scary.”
Chopra and Jonas welcomed Malti on January 15, 2022 via a surrogate.
“I don’t know if [having my own child] specifically has made me want to get behind amplifying women’s voices. That’s something that I am extremely aware of, being a woman who has the privilege of choosing my life and my career. There are so many women around the world that don’t get that opportunity,” the women’s rights advocate added.
Chopra and Jonas began dating in 2018. The same year they also got engaged and tied the knot. Stronger than ever, the couple went on to expand their family by welcoming their first child in 2022.
