A young 11-year-old was stabbed to death in Chicago while making the effort to protect his 33-week pregnant mom from a very abusive ex-lover.
The suspect was identified as Crosetti Band who was charged with first-degree murder and attempted first-degree killing. He fatally stabbed the victim on Wednesday and then took her life.
She was later identified by the cops as Laterria Smith who is now in critical condition as doctors try to save her life and that of her unborn child.
The suspect also took the life of another woman who was identified as Jayden Perkins.
Brand was the mother’s former lover and was reportedly released from jail on parole after being sentenced to a staggering 16 years in jail for a home invasion.
The child who was only 11 intervened and tried to save his mom from the torment of the killer but in the process, the suspect stabbed him. Police have now confirmed how the brave child has died after suffering from the aftermath of his massive wounds that caused so much blood loss.
The family is currently mourning the brave little boy who died a hero while his neighborhood, community, and school joined in on a special prayer to honor his efforts.
