Britons have been left stunned after mesmerizing rainbows appeared across the Queen’s favorite places on the eve of her funeral.
As late Queen Elizabeth II’s lying in state period comes to an end, Palace with King Charles III at its head is preparing to say its final farewell to the longest-reigning British monarch in history.
It is believed that the Queen’s funeral will easily mark its spot as the most-watched event in TV history, whereas billions of people are expected to see the late monarch’s sendoff.
On the eve of the funeral, beautiful rainbows appeared across several locations including Windsor Castle, Westminster Hall, and Buckingham Palace.
The people also got to enjoy the stunning view of the red sky over Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster.
“The Queen is saying her final goodbyes to us, tomorrow is her funeral..” one person said.
“I know they’re just rainbows but I can’t help but believe that it’s all somehow connected to the Queen and her passing,” another suggested.
The beautiful views come days after rainbows were spotted outside Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle just hours after the Queen’s passing.
Eagle-eyed viewers have since also spotted clouds resembling the late monarch in the sky across England.
One of the mourners was Telford-based Leanne Bethell who was left in shock after seeing a figure resembling the Queen wearing a hat in the sky on her way home.
“Driving home and Lacey starts shouting OMG! I panicked. Then she pointed this image out in the clouds,” Bethell said.
She also shared her photo on social media where excited viewers quickly suggested the strange cloud formation was more than just a coincidence.
“It means she’s there for us and she’s watching us from above,” one person wrote.
“You only see it if you look for it. Maybe it is a sign or maybe we are just looking for a sign from above, who really knows,” another said.
