Queen Elizabeth’s bruised hands rapidly got the attention of royal fans who wish her to be okay.
Queen Elizabeth, 92, sparked a lot of royal concerns at Buckingham Palace after she was photographed with her hand noticeably purple as she joined Princess Anne to host King Abdullah, Queen Rania, and Crown Prince Hussein of Jordan.
On the said photo, Her Majesty’s left hand appeared to be bruised as she posted for official photographs in London.
Tracy Edgar, one of the Royal fans tweeted: “I’m concerned. Why does she have such a terrible bruise on her left hand? Did I miss something? But as always she looks stunning!”
Catherine Longstaff, another Royal fan said: “The lady in 92. At that age, any little knock, unfortunately, turns into what can look like severe bruises. The Queen is rather fab though, isn’t she?”
Colleen White added: “Oh my… HM does look like she hurt her hand… Hope it heals quickly.”
Nola Hennessy said: “Best wishes for speedy healing.”
The Queen enjoys excellent health, although she did have to pull out of service at St. Paul’s Cathedral last June because she was feeling unwell. Last month, the monarch underwent eye surgery to remove a cataract and wore sunglasses in public to avoid canceling long-planned matters.
The Jordanian royals began their UK visit as International Development Secretary Penny Mordaunt hosted the Jordan Growth and Opportunity Conference, which Jordanian Prime Minister Omar Razzaz also attended.
They also met Prime Minister Theresa May at Downing Street as part of their visit, the conference was intended for global leaders of businesses, government, and international agencies to get behind Jordan’s plans for economic growth.
The Jordanian royal couple is parents to Crown Prince Hussein, 24, Princess Iman, 22, Princess Salma, 18, and Prince Hashem, 14.
Mrs. May said the UK would underwrite a $3.6M World Bank loan to Jordan to help it borrow money at a lower rate and manage its national debt.
Britain will also increase its grant financing to Jordan over the next five years, Mrs. May said, to attract the investment needed for creating jobs. EU foreign affairs representative Federica Monherini, US treasury secretary Steve Mnuchin, and World Bank’s Kritalina Georgieva also attended the conference.
Prince Charles’s wife, Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, also tested positive for Covid later in the week. The Queen, who has been triply jabbed, is showing no symptoms and has submitted a negative result.
