The touching moment a single ray of sunshine lit up Buckingham Palace in the wake of the Queen’s death was caught on camera.
As London was covered in grey on Thursday evening, a ray of light was seen penetrating the clouds and lighting up Buckingham Palace.
The moment, which was branded as magical by the Queen’s mourners, was caught on camera thanks to a drone flying over the Palace.
“The Queen is sending her regards from the above,” one thrilled viewer wrote after seeing the footage.
“It’s a ray of hope in times of pain and grieving,” another said.
The third wrote: “I don’t believe in miracle but I think the Queen had something to do with this!”
The glorious sighting comes a week after the Queen’s passing and just days after mourners spotted cloud formations resembling the late monarch in the sky.
One such cloud formation was caught on camera by Leanne Bethell from Telford while she was on her way home.
“Driving home and Lacey starts shouting OMG! I panicked. Then she pointed this image out in the clouds,” Bethell wrote on Facebook where her photo quickly went viral.
“You only see it if you look for it. Maybe it is a sign or maybe we are just looking for a sign from above, who really knows,” someone wrote in response.
Another cloud formation – this one resembling the Queen riding a horse – was caught on camera by 37-year-old Eki Eguae in Wembley, London.
“At first I hadn’t thought about the Queen. But later I was thinking about the fact that she was so enthusiastic about horse racing, and while talking to my colleagues we were all saying it felt like she was behind it,” Eguae revealed.
