JUST IN: Raven-Symone Reveals Her Baby Brother Has Passed Away


American actress and singer Raven-Symone has revealed her baby brother has passed away.

The 38-year-old ‘The Cosby Show’ star took her 2.4 million Instagram followers by surprise on Monday as she broke the sad news and revealed her brother, 31-year-old Blaize Pearman, has passed away.

According to The Cheetah Girls actress, Blaize died following a two-year battle with colon cancer.

“Last month, I lost my brother. He is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed,” she said in her heart-wrenching clip.

“The emotions that have been coming, waving in and out of my body and mind. My family has been a little bit closer.”

Choking up while wearing shades to hide her tears, Raven concluded her clip by thanking her supporters and friends for standing by the family during this challenging time.

“Thank you the all the love yesterday. It was felt beyond. Hard to fully celebrate [Christmas] knowing that I’m here and he is not,” she added.

Cheetah Girls member Kiely Williams said: “I am so sorry. There are no words that can ease this kind of pain, but I hope you can find moments of peace and comfort in the weeks and months ahead. You and your family are in my prayers.”

Another Cheetah Girls star, Sabrina Bryan, added: “I am so sorry to hear this news Raven! You were always such an awesome big sister who loved and adored her baby brother! Sending healing prayers to you and your family during this difficult time.”

Speaking out was also Monique Coleman of High School Musical. “Oh nooo. So sorry to hear this! Sending you so much love,” she penned.
