Actor Tom Cruise wants the world to know that he is still on the market and he’s going to take every chance he gets to be with someone he shares great chemistry with.
And ever since the viral news about Sofia Vergara’s divorce has arisen, new speculations are taking about the actor getting ready to give that relationship a second shot.
It seems like the Hollywood heartthrob is not willing to let go of any of his chances of finding love in the entertainment industry. First, it was global superstar singer Shakira whom he seemed to be keenly interested in dating.
And now, it’s the beautiful stylish Sofia Vergara who only recently filed for divorce from her husband with many claiming the reason to be the actress not wanting any more kids.
An insider source alleges that Cruise is very keen on making the most of his one-time date with the star because he feels he needs to reconnect.
For those who might not be aware, Cruise and Vergara were in a brief relationship before he met Katie Holmes. The actor did manage to win her over but it did not last long and she was out of the picture.
The insider claims that the history that both of these stars share is already there so there was a connection and now that they are both separate and single, it wouldn’t be harmful to give it a second shot.
“What they had was very brief. And Cruise does feel that it may have led to other possibilities, provided the timing of their lives was different”- the insider went on to explain.
At the time, it was Cruise who seemed to be putting more effort into the relationship than anyone else. Vergara was hesitant and it was obvious by her body language that she was not in the mood for anything long-term. Now, however, things have changed and it could be for the betterment of the two of them.
