Russia has confirmed its decision to radically reduce the presence of military activity around the Ukrainian cities of Kyiv and Chernihiv.
Reports from local media reports spoke about the country’s decision to do so after a successful round of peace talks that were also attended by former Chelsea boss Roman Abramovich.
The news has shocked plenty as Russia’s Defense Minister Alexander Fomin revealed how the decision to go ahead came after peace talks. Moreover, he also spoke about how it would assist in creating mutual trust as a part of the negotiations pack.
Ukraine’s status to remain neutral has previously been discussed in the past as that’s when both of the country’s camps revealed how only talks between the two heads of state were left but they are believed to take place soon.
Just one day before, reports broke out about how Roman Abramovich had reportedly suffered from chemical poisoning after he had taken part in the meeting as one of the unofficial mediators.
Despite suffering from an array of alarming symptoms and being rushed to the hospital on an emergency basis, sources mentioned how he is now doing fine and has recovered.
He was joined by other members including Rustem Umerov who is the Ukrainian official that was also poisoned after the talks.
After the shocking attack, Ukraine’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba has sent out a warning to all to avoid eating or drinking anything during these talks.
These meaningful negotiations were reportedly held in Turkey where senior officials claim more practical decisions are being made with great security guarantees.
“The Ministry of Defence of the Russian Federation has taken the decision to reduce the combat operations in both Kyiv and Chernihiv. This is going to assist in building mutual trust between both sides”- reiterated Russia’s Deputy defense minister.
