Now that the Queen’s grand Platinum Jubilee Celebrations are over and done with, you’d probably assume the drama would come to an end too but that’s not the case.
New reports are now being released in regards to the Queen refusing to allow Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from sharing images of her meeting with Lilibet.
The monarch is believed to have laid out a series of terms and conditions that needed to be fulfilled, moments before she had a meeting with her great-grandchild who also happens to share the same name as her.
It was said to be an exclusive family affair as reported by the Sun recently.
Apparently, it has been rumored that the Queen had great fears about any images being leaked of her with little Lilibet and she certainly didn’t want that to happen. After all, they would be aired across different US television networks, The Sun added.
The Queen is believed to have met Lilibet on Thursday last week. This is believed to be the first time ever that the duo met at Windsor Castle. Remember, both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had been denied a personal photographer during the special moment, adding more speculations.
An inside source informed The Sun recently how both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle would have preferred a photographer of their own to capture their child’s special moment. After all, it was the first time that their daughter was meeting her dad’s grandmother.
“They were informed that there was no chance. It was solely restricted to a private family gathering”- the source further added.
The news must have upset Meghan Markle, explained one investigative journalist by the name of Tom Bower who happens to be working on Meghan’s biography.
“It’s not easy for the Duchess to understand that the images for the meeting at Windsor had to be forbidden”- he added.
