The first look of the inaugural Christmas card by King Charles has been released.
And as one can expect, there’s an obvious nod to the Late Queen Elizabeth. Moreover, royal fans have been waiting for this moment for a while now and they’re so excited to get a glimpse of the family during this festive time of the year.
While the actual message is yet to be released, this is a sneak peek and it’s safe to say that royal fans are in love already.
It entails a glimpse of the new King Charles taken during the inaugural festive address. The sneak peek comes just moments before the King is set to deliver his festive Christmas message to the nation tomorrow on Christmas morning.
This message was reportedly recorded on December 13 at the St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. This reportedly has a strong association with the late Queen, sources have revealed.
It is believed that the former monarch’s committal service was usually held in the chapel and she was laid to rest at the George VI Memorial Chapel within St. George’s, right next to her beloved husband, the Duke of Edinburgh.
Charles was seen getting a little emotional as he spoke movingly about his mother, the late Queen. This will be the first festive occasion without her and it’s clear that her loss is one that can never be fulfilled.
“We owe her the most heartfelt debt that any family member could owe to their mother”- she went on to mention.
He similarly thanked her for her love, warmth, kindness, example, guidance, and affection throughout their lives, adding how she can never be replaced.
This message was recorded in the same place where the family was seated for the Queen’s committal service.
