BREAKING: Desperate Race Against Time As Rescue Workers Rush To Save ‘Deaf & Mute’ Boy Four Days After He Fell Down A ’80ft Deep Well’


Terrifying news reports are coming in from India about a young deaf and mute boy who fell down a well.

According to local media outlets, Rahul Sahu fell down a waterhole as he was playing inside his garden in Chhattisgarh on Friday. Moreover, he has been stuck for a good four days as heavy cranes and earth movers tried their level best to dig out a tunnel to help free him.

Sources revealed how poor weather conditions and venomous snakes with scorpions were present and they hampered the entire rescue efforts.

Now, emergency workers are racing against the clock to try and recover him safely as cranes have also been ordered for a safe rescue operation.

Rahul Sahu was reported as falling down the giant waterhole during the hours of Friday and during that time, he happened to be playing in the backyard of his residence.

Now, authorities are doing everything in their power to try and rescue him safely by making a tunnel near the well. And that is stated to be just a few feet wide.

At first, they received the great news that he was responding well as the camera was sent inside to monitor the entire situation as well as any movements that he was making and his current condition.

Janjgir’s district police head Vijay Agrawal mentioned to AFP via a telephonic conversation that things were in good shape but time was of the essence in a situation like this.

“Since this young child has trouble listening and speaking, we have a huge challenge in front of ourselves because it just makes the whole communication process so much more difficult”- he continued.

For now, authorities are providing the child fresh oxygen for breathing through a pipe but the entire process of recovery and rescue is being hampered due to the presence of hard stone that is located below the ground.
