The cops asked the star to step out and perform a maneuver test after which they requested him to perform a breathalyzer but he denied it. This led to frustration and anger with the situation spiraling out of control.
Cops confirmed how the star reeked of alcohol and it was obvious that he was driving under the influence of alcohol, despite claiming he had just one martini.
Despite instances from his close pals who soon arrived at the scene, the cops refused to listen and opted to handcuff the celebrity and take him with them to the police station.
The married superstar is said to have enjoyed a booze-fueled dinner with close pals at the American Hotel in Sag Harbor before getting behind the wheel of his BMW past midnight. But soon afterward, he was stopped by the cops.
