One family is suing after alleging that their 22-year-old son suffered from a serious brain injury while riding a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain.
Christopher Hawley had only recently graduated from San Diego State University and had gone to the theme park with his younger brother and cousin.
That same day, the three rode the famous X2 roller coaster which was called out to be as a major lawsuit in the extremely rough ride that jerked all of the riders around like rag dolls.
As per the website of Magic Mountain, the ride boasts of being 360-degree rotating seats and head first then face drops. Passengers can take this ride up and get a marvelous view of being 200 feet in the air.
Christopher was located in the row by himself while the other boys sat together behind him as per the complaint.
After exiting the ride, Christopher was not feeling well and had to grasp onto a handrail. His head was hurting and then he knelt down, slumped on the side, and lost consciousness.
This was the point where he was rushed to the Six Flags Medical Tent. The next day, Christopher who was in good health previously ended up dying, leaving his family stunned with grief.
