The New York City helicopter that fell into the Hudson River after suffering a mechanical failure is now being outlined as suffering a similar mechanical failure months before the fatal wreck.
The tragedy killed all six people on board, including three children.

The ill-fated Bell 206L-4 LongRanger IV aircraft was owned and operated by New York Helicopter. It underwent a mechanical issue with its transmission assembly last year in September, as per the Federal Aviation Administration Data.
Records on file shared how the doomed chopper, designed in 2004, had already logged 12728 hours of flight time when it was forced to undergo repair.
At the moment, an investigation is underway to figure out what caused the aircraft to drop out of the sky and plunge into the river.
The probe will comb through the pilot’s experience, the incomplete wreckage, and the company from the Big Apple that ran several sightseeing tours.
Investigators are going to be taking a closer look at the maintenance work that was done on the vehicle and figure out what may have gone wrong that led to this terrifying disaster in the first place.
Some experts shared how a continuous problem might be the cause of the rotor blade to fail, which could be responsible for the crash.
