Nigel Lythgoe is being slammed online after more women have come forward to bash the leading American Idol producer regarding assault, handing him another major lawsuit.
The news was already so striking when Paula Abdul mentioned how she was assaulted by his hands inside an elevator while they were busy filming. And now seeing more women come forward has left fans in a state of absolute standstill.
The renowned ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ producer and famous face of American Idol too has plenty of successful shows up his sleeve. But how he’s being called out by fellow producers, assistants, judges, and contestants has made people realize one thing.
There’s more to the matter and the producer’s actions are no longer going hush as they did before.
The latest lawsuit had anonymous women come forward and file shocking claims on how the producer would roam around the dressing room area for women so he could easily target them and pounce on them.
Others spoke about how often they would be groped by him and told to remain hushed about the matter as it would be in their best interest.
Meanwhile, another production company has accused him of battery, assault, harassment, gender violence, negligence, and even the worst form of emotional distress.
Many women alleged that he would come around and feel their buttocks when they were getting all set to go for their dance performance routines in revealing attire.
Many were taken aback and did not raise their voices then on the reality show but now, they are all uniting and suing the celeb for the unlawful act.
“It happened so openly. Everyone was well aware of this. It’s just uncalled for”- another added. Investigations into the matter are now taking center stage and others feel those who have been affected should definitely united and come forward because they feel the perpetrator needs to be punished to prevent such things from going unnoticed again.
