Star soccer player Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly asked the team management at Manchester United to please let him leave.
According to local media reports, Ronaldo says the team must allow him to leave if they get a satisfactory offer from the soccer superstar this summer, just a season after he rejoined back into the club.
The 37-year-old was seen making a sensational return to the stadium in Old Trafford from Serie A giants during last summer. And now, Ronaldo is very adamant about his performance for the season.
Last season, the renowned celeb was seen scoring 24 goals in total during all of the sports competitions. And around 18 of those had come directly from the Premier League.
And that meant he was even hailed for being the third-best scorer across the entire division.
Ronaldo’s decision was stated to be one that was driven by his own intentions and heart to play in the famous Champions League tournament for the rest of his career as recently reported by the Times.
In addition to that, Ronaldo was said to be a part of a total of 19 different Champions League Sessions, ever since he chose to leave Sporting Lisbon for the famous English soccer team during the summer season of the year 2003.
In total, we’ve seen the striker make a staggering 183 different appearances when playing for Europe’s prestigious leagues, where he made 140 top-notch goals and added 42 assists too.
Ronaldo has reportedly never been a part of any Europe League in which the Red Devils are said to show up during the season’s much-anticipated event.
Some reports have also gone as far as mentioning how Ronaldo would like to spend the rest of his time at a place where he strongly feels like he is going to be adding value to a particular team.
